SIT CUT

automatically cut and skived counters & toe puffs

Extruded, impregnated (WOVEN and NONWOVEN) TPU and pressed powder materials can be "taylor made": cut, skived and shaped on patterns and shapes requested by the customer.

It is a service available on all SITEC stiffeners (toe-Puffs and counters), with a strong ecological and green impact.

Compared to sheet material deliveries, production waste and wasted materials is saved by about 25%, with a clear positive impact on the environment and waste disposal.

Warehouse costs are reduced accordingly.

SIT CUT material transports greatly reduce CO2 and fine dust emissions due to reduced transport volumes.

SIT CUT eco-friendly materials represent a further step forward in SITEC’s sustainability and environmental policies.

SIT TPU

extruded “in core adhesive” materials

SIT TPU materials for Toe Puffs and counters represent one of the excellence of the SITEC range.

They are thermoplastic and heat adhesive extruded materials; the adhesive is located inside the sheet material (it is not applied on the outer surfaces).

The polymers used in the making of the sheets derive from the families of polyurethanes and polyesters.

The areas in which the material is peeled and lowered, during the production of footwear or bags, turn out to be thermoadhesive without the need of subsequent application of adhesives, avoiding stages of additional processing in the production cycles.

All SIT TPU materials are recyclable and can be BIO compostable

TPU materials can be made with varying percentages of recycled polymers on demand, and with the addition of ecological and sustainable fillers, such as plastics derived from PET bottles, CD, marine plastics, wood processing waste or rice processing.
